Day 1–3: Dubai

Day 4–5: Desert Adventure (1 hr drive from Dubai)
Head into the desert for an unforgettable family adventure. Stay in a desert camp or luxury lodge, where kids can try camel rides, sandboarding, or a 4x4 dune drive. Day 6–8: Abu Dhabi (1.5 hr drive from Dubai)
Transfer to Abu Dhabi for a change of pace. Families can spend a full day at Yas Island, home to Warner Bros World, Ferrari World, and Yas Waterworld — all designed with families in mind. Classic Oman

Day 1–2: Muscat
Arrive in Oman’s capital, Muscat, and settle in by the coast. Explore the Muttrah Souk, filled with spices, textiles, and souvenirs, then stroll along the corniche for sea views. Visit the impressive Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (open to families in the morning), and spend an afternoon at the Royal Opera House gardens or the beach. Day 3–4: Nizwa & the Hajar Mountains (2 hr drive from Muscat)
Travel inland to Nizwa, famous for its fort and lively souk. Families can climb the battlements of Nizwa Fort, then continue into the Hajar Mountains. Stay in a mountain lodge where kids can explore traditional villages, walk through terraced farms, and enjoy panoramic views. A gentle hike along the “balcony walk” at Jebel Shams gives older children a sense of adventure without being too strenuous.
Day 5–6: Wahiba Sands Desert (3 hr drive from Nizwa)

Day 1–2: Amman
Arrive in Jordan’s capital, Amman, and spend your first days exploring. Families can also take a day trip to the impressive Roman ruins of Jerash, where kids will love running through amphitheatres and climbing ancient steps.
Day 3–4: Petra (3 hr drive from Amman)
Drive south to the rose-red city of Petra, one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites. Families can walk the dramatic Siq canyon to the Treasury, then explore wider trails at their own pace. Older kids may enjoy the climb to the Monastery, while younger ones can explore the tombs and caves closer to the entrance. Evening light shows in Petra add a magical touch.
Day 5–6: Wadi Rum (1.5 hr drive from Petra)

Classic Egypt

Day 1–3: Cairo
Arrive in Cairo and dive straight into Egypt’s most iconic sights. Families can marvel at the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, perhaps even riding a camel across the plateau. Day 4–6: Aswan & Nile Cruise (1 hr flight from Cairo)
Fly south to Aswan and board a family-friendly Nile cruise. Over several days, the cruise becomes a relaxed way to see temples without constant packing and unpacking. Stops might include Kom Ombo (with its crocodile museum), Edfu Temple, and riverside villages. On board, kids enjoy the pool and watching life on the Nile, while parents can soak up the scenery.
Day 7–8: Luxor
